Weekly comics magazine, Eppo has released a short article about Wat Wil West newspaper that appeared in the kiosk last week.

It's a fitting piece but we have spotted a misprint: Polman is of course with one "L" en Joost is easily confused with Polman's real name "Remco".

Otherwise a lovely ode to our zipcode winner: Wat Wil West!

Remco Polman is a regular artist of the Eppo team with his gag comic Floris van Dondemonde.

Exhibition Opening February 28th in Beeldverhaal!

Coming up at the end of this month, an exhibition of prints and original work by the artists of Wat Wil West!

The exhibition will open on the 28th of February at 5pm at Het Beeldverhaal on the Bilderdijkstraat in Amsterdam.

Come and enjoy a drink and a chat with your favourite comic artists while browsing the unique works from the newspaper.

And if you haven't picked up a newspaper yet, well here's your chance!

Media attention for Wat Wil West

Political cartoonist Tjeerd Royaards has posted his winning illustration on his website: Cover Illustration 

Jan 17th, 2014:
BNS (Beroepsvereiniging Stripmakers Nederland) picked up on the buzz and published the press release and party flyer on their website. Great to have the support of an organisation which also produces a free comic newspaper!

6000 newspapers arrived at my studio on the Plantage Dok, Amsterdam
